【摘要】：当前所推行的一系列改革为中国现代化建设提供了强大的动力支撑，也为社会的发展与繁荣奠定了坚实的基础。改革的不断深入带来的是经济的持续增长，政治民主化的不断推进，文化的持续繁荣与生态建设的科学实施。改革的目的是要摆脱长期以来存在的各种粗放型发展模式与理念，实现各个领域的科学化发展，最终实现社会的精细化。然而，在取得改革成果的同时，近些年，经济社会各领域因安全生产、产品和建设工程质量、危化品泄漏和污染物偷排等造成的大量事故，明显成为现代化事业的不谐音，而且造成了人命、财产、生态环境等的重大损失。考察这些事故及其原因，无不把人们的眼光引向生产企业的粗放经营和管理；引向直接、间接责任者明显而严重的责任缺失；引向社会标准、责任追究制度缺失或虚设；引向劳动者、管理者和服务者知识、专业技能和职业责任意识的严重低下。这些因素均可以归结为传统社会所造就的简单粗放的生产方式、管理模式、思想观念和行为习惯，所有这些东西，正是粗放社会的特征。 精细社会是对精细农业、集约经营和精细化管理的社会学抽象，，是粗放-精细维度上现代化理论的新概括。相应的粗放社会，也是对游耕、粗放农业、粗放经营和简单经验管理、人治社会的社会学抽象，是在粗放-精细维度上对相对落后的传统社会的新概括。社会的精细化是要实现社会在发展过程中的科学、合理与高效，逐步摆脱一切粗放式的发展模式，使社会由粗放走向精细。社会的精细化是建立在科学知识、技术、制度与人的职业意识基础之上的。 本研究主要探究技术对社会精细化发展的作用。从技术的分类入手，结合相关案例，阐述了技术对生产、生活、社会管理、社会服务以及人的意识与能力的精细化作用。论证了技术作用于社会精细化发展的途径。技术对生产领域的精细化主要表现为技术促使农业生产的集约化、标准化与生态化；促进工业生产方式技术化、劳动分工专业化和生产过程的标准化；技术对生活领域的精细化主要表现为技术促进人类生活方式的便利化、节约化、高效化；技术对社会管理精细化主要表现为推动社会管理的民主化、信息化、全面化、人性化；技术对社会服务的精细化主要表现为促进服务理念的人性化、服务手段的科技化、服务质量标准化以及服务指标的量化。技术对人的意识与技能的精细化主要表现为促进人的素质的不断提高。 实现社会的精细化发展是一项长期而艰巨的系统性工程，需要社会各方面的有效配合与科学推进。技术的科学化与技术型人才的培养将为社会的精细化发展提供强有力的支撑，成为精细社会建设的必要条件。在中国全面推进改革的过程中，技术的进步和创新将为社会的发展提供不懈的动力。作为精细社会的基础性工程，技术的推进将使当前这场改革具有现代的性的色彩。除此之外，科学知识、制度以及职业意识对于社会精细化发展的作用机制将成为精细社会后期所要研究的重点。
