从全球视野与生态视角来考察历史——克罗斯比治史方法初探

【摘要】：克罗斯比是美国知名的全球史学家和环境史学家,他的著作《哥伦布交流》、《生态帝国主义》和《病菌、种子和动物》等,从全球视野与生态视角来理解欧洲的兴起及其扩张,并试图构建起一种具有普遍解释力的历史研究的"脚本"。这一"脚本"的基本内涵包括:将人当作一个生物体来理解;关注传染病对人类历史的影响;从全球生态系统来理解欧洲的扩张;借用地理学、生物学、生态学等其他学科的方法来研究历史。他的研究具有开创性,其治史思路与方法值得借鉴。
[Abstract]:Crosby is a well-known global historian and environmental historian in the United States. His works Columbus Exchange, Ecological imperialism and bacteria, Seeds and Animals, etc., understand the rise and expansion of Europe from a global perspective and an ecological perspective.And try to construct a kind of "script" with universal explanatory power of historical research.The basic elements of this "script" include: understanding people as an organism; focusing on the impact of infectious diseases on human history; understanding European expansion in terms of global ecosystems; and borrowing geography, biology,Methods of studying history in other disciplines such as ecology.His research is groundbreaking, and his ideas and methods of historical management are worth learning from.
