历史语言研究所与“科学的东方学之正统在中国”

【摘要】：(一)历史语言研究所的创办,有三方面的情况制约着其制定办所方针。在"歧路旁皇,莫知所止"的情况下,要用中国境内丰富的历史学和语言学的材料,借用欧洲的先进研究方法做出新的成就,唯有"不以空论为学问,乃纯就史料以探史实",才得以保存下一块学术"净土"。(二)历史语言研究所的业绩:(1)最能体现"上穷碧落下黄泉,动手动脚找东西"精神的考古组,使中国新石器时代的话语权逐渐回归国人,使甲骨学的发展由草创迈向成熟,并预示着后来推进的基本趋势。(2)"扩张研究材料、扩张研究工具"的历史组,使简牍学、敦煌学、清史的众多史料不再"坐失毁亡",并确定了中国古代史研究的基本路向,为20世纪的中国史研究做出无可替代的业绩。(3)历史语言研究所20年间形成以追求"科学"、"客观"为目的,以扩充和整理材料为旨趣,以"求真"和"务实"为风格的研究集体,为历史语言研究规范化和科学化做出了不可磨灭的贡献。
[Abstract]:(1) the establishment of the Institute of History and language has three constraints on its policy. (2) the achievements of the Institute of Historical languages: 1) Archaeological groups that best reflect the spirit of "rising and falling from poverty to yellow spring and moving hands and feet to look for things" have gradually brought the right to speak in the Neolithic Age of China back to the Chinese people and made the development of oracle bone science move from scratch to maturity. The historical group of "expanding research materials, expanding research tools", which foreshadowed the basic trend promoted later, made the numerous historical materials of the study of Jian du, Dunhuang, and Qing Dynasty no longer "sit down and perish", and determined the basic direction of the study of Chinese ancient history. To make an irreplaceable achievement for the study of Chinese history in the 20th century.) in the past 20 years, the Institute of Historical languages has formed a research collective with the aim of pursuing "science" and "objectivity", the purport of expanding and arranging materials, and the style of "seeking truth" and "pragmatism". It has made an indelible contribution to the standardization and scientization of the study of historical language.
