【摘要】：美国作为一个多民族的移民国家，因其宽容的政治氛围，民主的社会制度，发达的经济和多元的文化政策，吸引着世界各地移民的到来。华裔作为亚裔移民队伍中一个巨大的分支，大批华人在1960年之后，因家庭团聚，留学，就业等因素纷纷走出国门，成为美国新移民。大量新移民的到来，使得美国的华人社区发生了很大的变化。在1940年之前，华人在美国受尽歧视，大多聚居在唐人街，从事卑微的职业，过着单身汉侨居的生活，不参与政事及其他活动，无法融入美国主流社会。然而，1940年后华人社区发生了，但并不显著。在1960年之后，大多华裔美国人不再居住在唐人街，而逐渐分布在美国各地。华人社区的男女比例也趋于平衡，形成了以家庭为中心的家庭结构。在经济方面，，华人的职业发生了翻天覆地的变化，从以前的餐馆，洗衣业等转变到开始涉及各个行业。华裔美国人经济的改善为他们的向上流动提供了保障，使得他们更加容易被美国主流社会所接受。华人在美国社会中不断的调整自己，越来越多的华人已经融入了美国社会，甚至被美国社会称为模范少数族裔。本文试图通过比较1960年前后的美国华人社会，从社会政治政策，华人经济状况，以及文化因素等方面来探讨引起美国华人社区发生巨大转变的原因。首先，社会政治政策为华人的发展提供了比较宽松的条件和均等的机会，是华人社会得以发展的前提条件。美国移民政策使得华人社区的结构发生了巨大的变化。其次，传统经济产业和新兴产业为华人向上流动提供了保证和可能，同时促使华人社会地位的提高。最后，华人在适应和接受美国文化的同时，还保持着中国传统文化，这两种文化的结合使得华人更快的融入美国主流社会。通过本文的写作，作者旨在理清影响美国华人社会发展的因素。通过分析这些因素是如何作用于华人，从而为人们理解美籍华人是如何慢慢融入主流社会提供一些有用的信息。同时，也为即将移民美国或赴美留学的人带来一些思考。
[Abstract]:As a multi-ethnic immigrant country, the United States, because of its tolerant political atmosphere, democratic social system, developed economy and pluralistic cultural policy, It has attracted immigrants from all over the world. As a huge branch of the Asian immigrant force, a large number of Chinese people have gone abroad since 1960 because of family reunion, study abroad, employment and other factors. New immigrants to the United States. The arrival of a large number of new immigrants has greatly changed the Chinese community in the United States. Before 1940, Chinese people were discriminated against in the United States, most of whom lived in Chinatown and engaged in humble occupations. Living a bachelor's life, not taking part in politics and other activities, and not being able to integrate into the mainstream of American society. However, after 1940, the Chinese community occurred, but not significantly. After 1960, most Chinese Americans no longer lived in Chinatown. But gradually distributed throughout the United States. The proportion of men and women in the Chinese community has also tended to balance, forming a family-centered family structure. In economic terms, the occupation of Chinese has changed dramatically, from previous restaurants. The laundry industry has changed to cover various industries. The improvement in the economy of Chinese Americans provides a guarantee for their upward mobility, making them more easily accepted by the mainstream American society. Chinese people constantly adjust themselves in American society. More and more Chinese have been integrated into American society, even called model minorities. By comparing the Chinese society around 1960, this paper attempts to explore the causes of the great changes in the Chinese community in the United States from the aspects of social and political policy, the economic situation of the Chinese people and cultural factors. Social and political policies provide relatively loose conditions and equal opportunities for the development of Chinese people, and are prerequisites for the development of Chinese society. The structure of the Chinese community has undergone tremendous changes as a result of the immigration policy of the United States. Secondly, Traditional economic industries and emerging industries provide guarantee and possibility for the upward mobility of Chinese people, and at the same time promote the status of Chinese people in society. Finally, while adapting and accepting American culture, Chinese people also maintain Chinese traditional culture. The combination of these two cultures has enabled Chinese to integrate more quickly into the mainstream American society. Through the writing of this paper, the author aims to clarify the factors that affect the development of Chinese society in the United States. This will provide some useful information for people to understand how Chinese Americans slowly integrate into mainstream society, and also bring some thinking to those who are about to emigrate to the United States or study in the United States.
