The Fruition of the Removal Ideology in the United States’ I

本文主要以美国建国初期到十九世纪三十年代印第安政策作为背景,针对美国南方诸州在这些政策演变中角色及其作用,特别是迁移危机前后这些州与南方切罗基部落多个司法诉讼及案例中所处的角色来分析,从而说明这一过程在美国历史上处理印第安问题参考依据的演变和影响——也就是白人对印迁移思想体系的形成和胜利,得出印第安人苦难的根源。有异于传统史学观点的研究侧重点,本文从美国的地方政府,南方诸州权力机构、司法机构与印第安人之间的关系的变化和发展来阐述这一相互关系对联邦政府、最高法院制定决策的作用和影响,从而说明白人迁移政策思想体系的流行和胜利。
