【摘要】：本文主要以清前期苏北地区的经济发展为研究对象。清前期苏北地区经济的转换主要发生在由传统的封建社会向半殖民地半封建社会转型时期,其发展的状况代表着这一时期欠发达区域生产力发展的总体特征,但其又有自己鲜明的区域特点。在清前期苏北的整个经济中,自然经济仍然占据着统治地位,两种经济并存并相互竞争着。小商品经济的模式在渐渐冲破自然经济的束缚,孕育着新生产方式的萌芽。但是中国长期以来的封建农业经济,对于新生产力的出现是起着延缓和阻碍的作用,而且这种影响在过渡到1840年的时候,仍然是非常强大的。本文首先从历史上苏北经济的发展,政府职能的角度,来看苏北经济的继承性与传统性,然后再从清前期农业、手工业、商业等方面,揭示苏北区域经济发展落后的根源。本文在论述这最主要的写作目的时,不仅是从生产力发展方面,更是从人的主观思想上,来探讨这一主要因素。本文在写作的过程,也适当地运用一些西方经济学与发展经济学等有关原理与方法,以便更确切地表述这一具有时代特点的社会经济现象。
