西学东渐与清代前期数学

【摘要】:本论文以清代前期历算学者为中心分析和探讨了西方天文学和 数学知识传入中国后引起的复杂反应,并研究了引发这种反应的复杂 社会背景。 论文主要分为四部分,第一章概述了西学东渐时期传入中国的西 方天文学和数学知识的基本状况,对中西算学互动作了初步考察。在 对此一课题的相关研究成果进行回顾之后,笔者认为研究中应注重西 学知识背景与中国传统之间的冲突和融合问题,并以此作为本论文研 究的主题。 第二章论述清代初期西方历算学知识传入中国的状况。着重分析 了康熙年间西方数学知识在中国传播过程中取得的成果和遇到的挫 折。 第三章讨论清初中西数学之间的互动状况。论述了康熙历狱事件 产生的复杂影响。探讨了中国数学家对于西方历算知识的接受方式。 第四章分析乾嘉时期的数学研究状况。指出在乾嘉学界复古的氛 围下,中西算学的交流和融合陷入了一定的困境。 本文认为,从中西算学传统之间的差异角度出发来关注清代前期 的中西两大算学体系的交流历程,我们可以得到更多的启发和收获。
[Abstract]:Based on the scholars of calendar calculation in the early Qing Dynasty, this paper analyzes and discusses the complex reactions caused by the introduction of western astronomy and mathematics into China. The complex social background of this reaction is also studied. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first chapter summarizes the basic situation of Western Fangtian literature and mathematical knowledge introduced into China during the period of the spread of western learning to the east, and makes a preliminary investigation on the interaction between Chinese and Western arithmetic. After reviewing the relevant research results of this subject, the author believes that attention should be paid to the conflict and integration between the background of western learning knowledge and Chinese tradition. And take this as the theme of this thesis. The second chapter discusses the introduction of western calendar knowledge into China in the early Qing Dynasty. This paper analyzes the achievements and setbacks of western mathematical knowledge in China during the Kangxi period. The third chapter discusses the interaction between Chinese and Western mathematics in the early Qing Dynasty. This paper discusses the complex influence of Kangxi prison events. This paper probes into the way in which Chinese mathematicians accept the knowledge of western calendars. The fourth chapter analyzes the mathematical research situation in Qianjia period. It is pointed out that under the atmosphere of the retro of Qianjia academic circles, the communication and integration of Chinese and Western arithmetic have fallen into a certain predicament. This paper holds that from the point of view of the differences between Chinese and Western computational traditions, we can get more inspiration and harvest by paying attention to the communication process between Chinese and Western computational systems in the early Qing Dynasty.
