民国旅行指南文献初探

【摘要】：近代社会,伴随西方旅游观念与方式的传入,中国城市与交通的发展、市民阶层的成长、边疆区域的开发等,旅行活动被赋予新的内涵,呈现鲜明的时代特征。旅行活动的发展使人们对旅行信息的需求增加,催生了指导人们出行、出游的现代旅行指南。文章通过对400余种民国旅游指南进行分析,指出民国时期指南的出现既与史地志的编撰传统有关,也有西方因素的刺激。其产生的具体原因多样,如博览会、科学会的召开或铁路、公路的开通,都会刊行相应的指南。出版指南成为当时机构、团体等流行的宣传手段。旅行指南内容主要涉及旅途中的食、宿、游、购、行、娱方面。分为城市、景点、区域、线路、海外五大类,以城市类为主。编撰者既有个人,也有机构,多为专业出版社发行。体例与格式在借鉴传统史地志基础上有新的发展,主要采用章节体。其丰富的内容反映了许多现代旅行观念,即旅行在政治、经济、民族平等、大众化方面的功用。其读者群体多样,且具有重要的史料价值。民国时期嘉陵江三峡地区系列指南的产生说明了指南作为宣传媒介的作用。卢作孚以北碚为中心的嘉陵江三峡地区的乡村建设实验使北碚由一个偏僻山乡变为现代新兴城镇,加上抗战的特殊形势,北碚成为大后方文化名城。当局先后编印了数本游览指南,既是介绍北碚概况,方便游览,也是希望指南向读者展示北碚的现代形象,吸引他们到峡区游览,争取社会支持。三峡指南采用选择"现代"、"先进"等用语,书写特定事业与集中的排列等方式,极力宣传乡建事业的成果,展示峡区的现代化形象。而峡区本身建设所取得的成就及其周到的接待方式,令时人游览峡区形成的观感与指南所宣传的现代化城镇意象基本一致。指南成为实验区对外宣传的手段之一。
[Abstract]:In modern society, with the introduction of western tourism concepts and ways, the development of Chinese cities and traffic, the growth of the civil class, the development of frontier areas, travel activities are endowed with new connotations, showing distinct characteristics of the times. The development of travel activities increases the demand for travel information and gives birth to modern travel guides to guide people to travel and travel. Through the analysis of more than 400 kinds of guidebooks for the Republic of China, this paper points out that the emergence of the guidebooks during the Republic of China is not only related to the compilation tradition of history and geography, but also stimulated by western factors. The specific reasons are various, such as exposition, science institute or railway, highway, will publish the corresponding guide. The publication guide became a popular propaganda tool for organizations and groups at that time. The guidebook covers food, lodging, travel, shopping, travel and entertainment. Divided into cities, scenic spots, regions, routes, overseas five categories, mainly urban. The authors are both individuals and institutions, most of which are published by professional publishers. The style and format have new development on the basis of drawing lessons from the traditional historiography. Its rich content reflects many modern travel concepts, that is, the functions of travel in politics, economy, national equality and popularization. Its readers are diverse and have important historical value. The production of the Jialing River three Gorges guidelines during the Republic of China illustrates the role of the guidelines as a propaganda medium. Lu Zuofu's rural construction experiment in the three Gorges area of Jialing River, centered on Beibei, changed Beibei from a remote mountain township to a modern new town. In addition to the special situation of the War of Resistance against Japan, Beibei became a famous cultural city in the rear area. The authorities have compiled and printed several guidebooks, which not only introduce the general situation of Beibei, but also hope that the guide will show readers the modern image of Beibei, attract them to visit the gorge, and win social support. The three Gorges Guide adopts the terms "modern" and "advanced" to write about the arrangement of specific undertakings and concentration, so as to propagate the achievements of rural construction and display the image of modernization in the gorge area. However, the achievements in the construction of the isthmus and its thoughtful reception mode make the formation of the tourist isthmus consistent with the modern town image propagated by the guide. The guide became one of the means of publicity in the experimental area.
