为国人打开了一扇了解西方的大门——任鸿隽与《留美学生季报》

【摘要】：《留美学生季报》是清末民初留美中国学生在美国编辑,在国内发行的一份杂志,在出版发行方式上具有独特性。通过该杂志,身处美国的留学生们向国人介绍美国国情,为国人打开了一扇了解美国国情的大门。因而该杂志在内容上亦是独树一帜,在留学生及国内知识界有较大影响。任鸿隽于1914—1915年先后担任《留美学生季报》的编辑和总编辑,亦是该杂志的主要撰稿人,他在任期内给该刊从形式到内容均带来巨大的变化。
[Abstract]:The Quarterly of students studying in the United States is a magazine edited by Chinese students in the United States in the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. Through the magazine, overseas students in the United States introduce the national conditions of the United States, opening the door for people to understand the national conditions of the United States. As a result, the magazine is unique in content, and has a greater impact on foreign students and the intellectual world in China. Ren Hongjun was editor and editor-in-chief of the Student Quarterly in the United States from 1914 to 1915, and was also a major contributor to the magazine. During his tenure, he brought great changes to the magazine's form and content.
