[Abstract]:At the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, revolutionaries represented by Sun Zhongshan and royalists led by Kang Youwei organized newspapers in Singapore (otherwise known as "Xingzhou") to create public opinion and strive for the support of overseas Chinese. Among them, the The "Sun-Poo" or Singapore Chinese Morning Post) (1909.8.16-1910.11.1), which was founded by Zhou Zhizhen and Xie Xinzheng, members of the Singapore affiliate of the League, is an important propaganda organ of the revolutionaries in Singapore, especially after the suspension of the publication of the "ZTE Daily". Become Singapore's only revolutionary propaganda. The newspaper sold well in Britain and Holland, and achieved very obvious revolutionary propaganda effect. This paper focuses on the Xingzhou Morning Post. The first part introduces its background, the second part introduces its founding process and layout, the third part analyzes its revolutionary propaganda content through editorials, and finally evaluates the newspaper. In a word, the revolutionary propaganda of Xingzhou Morning Post prepared the public opinion for the 1911 Revolution, won the support of overseas Chinese, and promoted the 1911 Revolution. But at the same time, the newspaper also has some historical limitations.
