晚清优拔贡考试与山东巡抚袁树勋联衔入奏——关晓红《科举停废与近代中国社会》补正

【摘要】：正关晓红教授《科举停废与近代中国社会》第三章停罢科举的善后措施里,对山东巡抚袁树勋电邀各省联衔奏请停止优拔贡一事,做了认真的评述[1]。我认为,关晓红教授的分析,对山东巡抚袁树勋电邀各省联衔奏请停止优拔贡一事涉及的一些问题未充分廓清,尚有可议之处。本文拟利用相关档案文献资料,对这一史事略做补正,以期对晚清内外群臣在优拔贡考试停留问题上的态度和反应有一个更加全面的认识。宣统元年(1909)三月,在第二次举行举贡考职和
[Abstract]:Professor Zheng Guan Xiaohong, "the abolition of the imperial examination and the modern Chinese society" in the third chapter of the measures to stop the imperial examination, the Shandong governor Yuan Shuxun invited the provinces to play the title of the United title to stop the excellent tribute, made a serious comment [1]. In my opinion, Professor Guan Xiaohong's analysis has not fully clarified some problems involved in the invitation by Yuan Shuxun, governor of Shandong Province, to stop the United title of each province, and there is still room for discussion. This paper intends to make use of the relevant archival documents to make a brief correction to this historical event in order to have a more comprehensive understanding of the attitude and reaction of the officials from both inside and outside the late Qing Dynasty on the question of the retention of the excellent Pagons examination.
