【摘要】：学习历史，必须对所研究时代的历史地理有一个宏观的认识，，只有在这个基础上，才能更好的研究历史理清历史事件的脉络，才能更好的把握历史发展的方向，才能得出正确的、细致的、客观的历史真相。历史地理是一个既古老又年轻的学科，她是在中国古代沿革地理学的基础上发展而来，今天的历史地理涉及方面众多，但作为基础的沿革地理仍是重中之重。本文将立足政区沿革，来详细梳理西汉一代赵国地区的政区沿革情况。文中所说赵国，指的是高帝四年赵国的封域，包括《汉书·地理志》记载的，赵国、常山郡、中山国、真定国、钜鹿郡、广平国、清河郡、河间国、信都国全部，以及魏郡、勃海郡部分。全文分为四部分。绪论部分，介绍论文的选题意义、研究对象及方法及相关学术史的回顾。第一部分总说西汉赵国景帝三年前沿革情况。第二部分以郡顺序，依次对各个郡的沿革进行考证，其中重点是各郡所辖县一级行政单位的沿革。通过县一级行政单位的沿革，可以更好的展现赵国郡沿革的全貌，可以看到西汉中央政府对地方郡县控制力逐步加强的过程。每节分成两部分，前一部分主要考证郡国一级政区的沿革情况，后一部分主要就郡所辖县的沿革情况进行考证。第三部分总结西汉时期赵国政区的沿革。
