协商民主与社会正义——当代西方民主理论的内在反思及其社会基础

【摘要】：当代西方复杂的社会现实对自由民主模式的挑战要求民主理论家们从理论上进行建构性回应。在一种“紧缩策略”的民主构想中,不仅把民主的价值意蕴从民主的含义中剥离出来是可能的,而且民主制度与其价值规范也是相互分离甚至冲突的。一些分析马克思主义政治理论家深受这种策略的影响并且宣称“最低限度的民主”不带有任何规范性的承诺,其与“作为分配平等的社会正义”之间也是不相容的;相反协商民主理论家们则采取了“深化策略”,他们认为协商民主不仅承诺民主具有规范性的内涵,而且与“更广泛的社会正义”之间具有“内生”关系。从根源上说,现代社会的复杂性事实使得民主与正义无法在相互隔断的状态中加以考量和把握,甚至协商民主与社会正义在当代社会背景下构成了某种“相互诠释”。虽然协商民主理论对西方民主理论进行了深刻的内在反思,但是由于绝大多数协商民主理论家是站在资本主义制度之内修补自由民主的,因而协商民主发挥的功效是有限的。
[Abstract]:The challenge of contemporary western complex social reality to the model of liberal democracy requires democratic theorists to make a constructive response in theory. In a democratic conception of "austerity strategy", It is not only possible to strip the meaning of democracy from its meaning, And democracy and its values are separate and even conflicting. Some analytical Marxist political theorists are deeply influenced by this strategy and claim that "minimum democracy" has no normative commitment. It is also incompatible with "social justice as a distributive equality"; on the contrary, the theorists of consultative democracy have adopted a "deepening strategy", arguing that consultative democracy not only promises that democracy has normative connotations, And there is an "endogenous" relationship with "broader social justice". At its root, the complexity of modern society makes it impossible for democracy and justice to be considered and grasped in a state of separation. Even the consultative democracy and social justice constitute some kind of "mutual interpretation" in the contemporary social background. Although the theory of consultative democracy has deeply reflected on the western democratic theory, But because the vast majority of deliberative democracy theorists are standing within the capitalist system to repair liberal democracy, the effectiveness of consultative democracy is limited.
