先宋“万岁”谫论

【摘要】:"万岁"一词,其源甚远。读先唐乙部之书常见此语,然用例漶漫,真义非一,非望而可知者。寇准之废,起于狂民迎其马首而呼万岁,遂为街使王宾推奏。由是知宋时"万岁"乃天子禁脔,非人臣所宜,然观班马诸篇则无此俗,盖"万岁"御用乃后起之事,即如霍布斯鲍姆(Hobsbawm,E.)所谓"被发明的传统",今拟对此问题追踪蹑迹,略作钩考,不惟董理"万岁"文化意涵之演变线索,亦冀借此一窥皇权礼制建构过程之一端。
[Abstract]:Long live the word "long live", its source is very far. Read before Tang Dynasty part B book common this phrase, but the use case is diffuse, the true meaning is not one, not the hope and the knowable. The scrapping of Kou Zhong-zhi, started from the mad people to meet its horse's head and exhort long live. So let Wang Bing play for the street. Therefore, knowing that "long live" in Song Dynasty was the exclusive preserve of the son of Heaven and was not suitable for people and ministers, however, there was no such custom in the various articles of Banma, and it was a matter of late rise to cover the "long live" of the emperor. The so-called "invented tradition", such as Hobsbawm E.), is going to follow this problem on tiptoe and make a brief examination, not only the clue of Dong Li's cultural meaning of "long live", but also a glimpse of one end of the construction process of imperial propriety.
