“中国中心观”与美国的中国学研究

【摘要】：美国学者柯文提出的"中国中心观"在中国史研究领域产生了深远的影响。但以往的相关探讨多将目光局限于"中国中心观"本身及附带的理论内涵等问题,探讨的结果不尽如人意。实际上,如果没有国内外形势变迁催生的美国学界的"反思"潮流,以及费正清等人的大力支持等诸多因素,"中国中心观"或许不能产生巨大的影响。"中国中心观"是为解决"冲击—反应论"的弊端而提出的,给困境中的美国中国学指明了一个前行方向。但它并非完美,有着自身的适用范围和理论缺陷。
[Abstract]:The "China-centered view" put forward by American scholar Ke Wen has had a profound influence in the field of Chinese history research. However, previous related discussions have confined their attention to the issues such as the "China-centered view" itself and its accompanying theoretical connotations, etc. The results of the discussion are not satisfactory. In fact, without the "introspection" trend of the American academic community, which has been spurred by the changing situation at home and abroad, As well as the strong support of John King Fairbank and others, the "China-centered view" may not have a great impact. The "China-centric view" is proposed to solve the malpractice of the "shock-reaction theory". But it is not perfect and has its own scope of application and theoretical defects.
