【摘要】：正南宋李焘所撰《续资治通鉴长编》(北京,中华书局点校本,2004年)卷一二二《杜衍传》载:"宝元元年十二月甲戌,知并州、枢密直学士杜衍加龙图阁直学士,以太原要重,藉衍镇抚故也。"(第2887页)此处李焘将杜衍所加的"龙图阁学士"误为"龙图阁直学士",北宋枢密直学士为正三品,而龙图阁直学士为从三品,据《宋史》卷一六八《职官志八·建隆以后合班之制》所载龙图阁直学士的班位也在枢密直学士之下。此时西夏元昊加剧了对宋边境的侵扰,太原为宋朝西北军事重镇,为提高知州杜衍的威望,是在其原来的"枢密直学士"一职上加重其帖职的份量,所以不可能加比枢密直学士品级还低的"龙图阁直学士",而是加"龙图阁学士"。龙图阁学士,于大中祥符三年设立,其品位虽与枢密直学士同为正三品,但其杂压班位在枢密直学士之上,(见《职官分纪》卷一五《龙图阁》)。据《宋史》卷三一○《杜
