都誓主论考

【摘要】：都誓主作为酉水流域诸蛮首领的称号,最早见于北宋时期的史料当中。由于史料记载简略,使得学者们在都誓主职位的设置时间、由来以及职能等问题上均存在争议。梳理相关史料和民间文献资料,结合制度和时代背景,可以判断,都誓主一职是唐末溪州地区土家族各地方势力发展、联合的产物,至北宋时得到中央朝廷的认可,并进一步规范其职能,使其具有了双重属性:一方面是代表酉水流域各土家族政权利益的盟主,另一方面是北宋政府维护酉水流域地方秩序、监管各誓下州长官承袭、统管各誓下州朝贡事物的代理人。都誓主职位的设立,反映了北宋政府在管理西南少数民族过程中始终坚持"因俗而治"的指导思想,在实现地方的精细化管理及稳定地方秩序方面均发挥了积极作用。
[Abstract]:As the title of head of Youshui River Basin, it was first found in the historical materials of the Northern Song Dynasty. Because of the brief historical records, scholars have disputes over the time, origin and function of the principal position. Combing relevant historical materials and folk literature, combining with the system and the background of the times, we can judge that the position of the chief is the product of the development and association of various local forces of Tujia nationality in the late Tang Dynasty and the Xi Prefecture region, and was recognized by the central court in the Northern Song Dynasty. And further standardize its functions, making it have dual attributes: on the one hand, it is the leader who represents the interests of the Tujia political regimes in Youshui Valley; on the other hand, the Northern Song Dynasty government maintains the local order in the Youshui Valley and supervises the succession of the prefectures under oath. An agent in charge of state tribute matters under oath. The establishment of the principal position reflects that the government of the Northern Song Dynasty always adhered to the guiding ideology of "governing according to the customs" in the process of managing the minority nationalities in the southwest, and played an active role in realizing the fine management of the locality and stabilizing the local order.
