丁韪良论“中国的文艺复兴”

【摘要】：京师同文馆美籍教习丁韪良作为晚清“同治中兴”时期文化教育变革的参与者,第一次从历史、现实与发展趋势的综合分析视角,为同治新政“定性”,将其称作“中国的文艺复兴”。重视丁韪良《中国的文艺复兴》之作品透析,不仅有助于重新认识该作品在西方汉学史与中国近代思想文化史上的学术价值与意义,亦有助于我们深入认识美国汉学家与晚清改革之关系。
[Abstract]:As a participant in the reform of culture and education during the period of "Tongzhi Zhongxing" in the late Qing Dynasty, Ding Weiliang, an American teacher and teacher of the Beijing Teachers and Literary Museum, was for the first time a qualitative analysis of the New deal of Tongzhi from the perspective of comprehensive analysis of history, reality and development trend. It is called the Renaissance of China. To pay attention to Ding Weiliang's works on the Renaissance in China is not only helpful to re-understand the academic value and significance of this work in the history of western Sinology and the history of modern Chinese ideology and culture. It also helps us to understand the relationship between American Sinologists and the late Qing Dynasty.
