西夏文藏传《守护大千国土经》研究

【摘要】：西夏文佛经有汉传和藏传两大来源,这两大系统的佛教作品具有不同的翻译特点。迄今为止,获得研究的夏译藏传佛教作品很少,其中的《佛说守护大千国土经》亦未见获得解读。本研究目的在于,整理和比较西夏文藏传《守护大千国土经》的28个残件,据以拼配出一部完整的本子,对全书进行首次解读,总结其中的西夏文翻译藏文的原则,顺便讨论几个相关的问题。《佛说守护大千国土经》是大乘佛教五部守护经之一,其西夏文本译自藏文,分上、中、下三卷,原件20世纪初于内蒙古额济纳旗的西夏黑水城遗址出土,藏于俄罗斯科学院东方文献研究所,现存初译本和校译本两种。1930年聂历山和石滨纯太郎曾提到对西夏文《守护大千国土经》上卷做过考释,但我们至今并未见其成果发表,一直以来我们只能在众多西夏文献目录中见到这部经的相关信息。最早收录西夏文《守护大千国土经》的有克恰诺夫和戈尔巴乔娃的《西夏文写本和刊本》,之后有西田龙雄的《西夏文华严经》(Ⅲ),1973年格林斯蒂德曾在《西夏文大藏经》中公布过其部分照片,却没有给出任何馆藏信息。1999年克恰诺夫在《西夏文佛教文献目录》中详细叙述了其34个馆藏号的版刻形制、保存情况等信息。对于夏译藏文佛经的翻译原则,学术界做过探讨的仅有王静如(《佛母大孔雀明王经》1932)、聂历山、石滨纯太郎(《八千颂般若经》1930)以及聂鸿音(《般若心经》2005)等,他们发现西夏人在翻译藏传佛经时采用了不同于夏译汉传佛经的原则,这对研究西夏佛教史、西夏词源学以及西夏语来说是一大突破。然而,目前学界却缺少对夏译藏传佛经翻译原则的系统研究,这还有待更多的西夏文佛教作品获得考释。本研究通过解读《守护大千国土经》,总结其中的尊者、龙王及药叉等佛教术语的翻译原则及方法,在前人基础上进一步探索夏译藏传佛经的翻译原则,对学界今后继续研究夏译藏传佛教经典以及深入研究西夏语言都具有很重要的意义。通过全文解读夏译藏传《守护大千国土经》,本项研究将夏译藏文佛经的翻译原则总结为:(一)、意译藏文。(二)、音译和意译藏文结合。当一个藏文词结合了梵文的音译和意译时,西夏文也同样结合了音译和意译。(三)、音译梵文和意译藏文结合。有些术语藏文本来意译自梵文,但西夏文却采用音译梵文的部分音节同时意译另一部分藏文。(四)、音译藏文。对一些本来意译自梵文的藏文词,西夏人则直接音译藏文,这应该是对藏文不够精通的结果。(五)、音译梵文。有些术语藏文本来意译自梵文,西夏文却音译自梵文,这正是一些学者所说的,西夏人虽然主要是以藏文为底本翻译佛经,但也会参考梵文本。本研究采用“五行对译法”,即先给出西夏文录文及对译,接着是相应的藏文,然后是汉文意译,之后是注释,最后在佛经每卷末尾给出施护汉译本内容。这种对译法的好处在于清楚地呈现同一部经的夏、藏、汉三种译本的翻译特点,对我们探讨夏译藏文佛经的翻译原则提供了方便。

However , there is a lack of translation principles and methods for the translation of Buddhist scriptures in Xixia . This research adopts the five - line translation method , that is to give Xixia text and interpretation , then the corresponding Tibetan language , followed by the Chinese translation , followed by the annotation , and finally , at the end of each volume of the Buddhist scriptures , the translation features of the application of the Chinese version are given , which provides convenience for us to explore the translation principles of the Tibetan Buddhist scriptures in the Xia , Tibetan and Chinese .
