[Abstract]:Hunan Jiang Yong Goulanyao and Guangxi Gongcheng connected by the mountains and rivers, both belong to the Yao Pingdi. Goulan Yao Water Dragon Temple murals and Gongcheng Meishan Pictures belong to the Yao Meishan religious art works. By comparing the images of the soldiers in Meishan, the author makes a textual research on the identity of the mural of the Water Dragon Temple. The nine Mei-shan soldiers in the murals of the Shuilong Temple are in a very prominent position with exaggerated actions and unique images, which are similar to but different from the image of the rampant soldiers recognized by the folk, which has an inevitable relationship with the belief of the Yao people in the Meishan religion. In the belief of the Yao people in Meishan religion, Meishan rampant soldiers have become the national gods of the Yao nationality, and Zhang Wulang, the commander of the raging soldiers, is also called "Meishan", representing the "hometown" of the religious memory of the Yao people. There is no doubt that Meishan raging soldiers have more profound feelings in the belief of the Yao nationality than other nationalities, and their respect for them is reposing the true desire of the Yao people to return to the hometown of Meishan after their death and to become a god of home. This also became their pursuit of the ultimate goal of religious belief in life.
