现代性视域下的民国藏汉佛教交流

【摘要】：中国自清末向西方学习先进的科技开始逐渐踏上了现代化进程,随着这一进程,西方的思想也开始传入中国。“五四”以来,标榜“科学”和“民主”的西方理性思想逐渐转变了国人认识世界的态度,一些曾被认为是神圣的、不可侵犯的东西在人们的眼里慢慢变成了落后的、过时的甚至是迷信的。在这样的一个大背景下,民国时期的藏汉佛教交流却迎来了一个新时代,比起历史上元明清时期藏传佛教向内地的单线传播,这一时期表现更多的是藏汉佛教双方的交流。现代性刺激之下,这一时期藏汉佛教交流时代特征鲜明。藏汉佛教交流的时代特征如何塑造了人们的宗教观念是本论文所要探讨的问题。文章分为四个部分,第一部分主要讨论的是民国藏汉佛教交流的背景即民国初期中国受到现代性影响以后的困境以及藏传佛教提供的可能的出路。第二部分主要论及汉传佛教的衰落状况及其后的转型问题,这一部分主要从当时几个主要人物展开分析。第三部分讨论民国藏汉佛教交流的整个过程及隐匿其中的现代性踪迹和民国藏汉佛教交流的历史影响两方面内容。第四部分论述自民国起中国受现代性影响下,“理性”思想对“传统”的批判,着重阐述现代性对宗教的影响在佛教领域的体现,即本论文所探讨的问题。
[Abstract]:Since the end of the Qing Dynasty, China began to learn advanced technology from the West and gradually embarked on the process of modernization, along with this process, Western ideas began to spread to China. Since the May 4th Movement, Western rational ideas that boast "science" and "democracy" have gradually changed people's attitude towards understanding the world. Something that was once considered sacred and inviolable has slowly become backward in people's eyes. Outdated or even superstitious. Against such a background, the Tibetan and Han Buddhism exchanges in the Republic of China period ushered in a new era. Compared with the single-line spread of Tibetan Buddhism to the interior during the period of the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, this period was more manifested by the exchanges between Tibetan and Chinese Buddhism. Under the stimulus of modernity, Tibetan-Chinese Buddhism communication in this period has distinct characteristics. How the Tibetan-Han Buddhism communication has shaped people's religious concept is a problem to be discussed in this paper. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part mainly discusses the background of Tibetan and Han Buddhism communication in the Republic of China, that is, the plight of China after the influence of modernity in the early period of the Republic of China and the possible outlet provided by Tibetan Buddhism. The second part mainly deals with the decline of Han Buddhism and its subsequent transformation, which is mainly analyzed from several main characters at that time. The third part discusses the whole process of the exchange of Tibetan and Han Buddhism in the Republic of China and the hidden traces of modernity and the historical influence of the exchange of Tibetan and Han Buddhism in the Republic of China. The fourth part discusses the criticism of "tradition" in the thought of "reason" under the influence of modernity in China since the Republic of China, focusing on the embodiment of the influence of modernity on religion in the field of Buddhism, that is, the problems discussed in this paper.
