晚清以来在华教会大学历史教育初探

【摘要】：历史教育,在古代一直处于经史混杂的状态。到晚清的时候,中国学术文化在深受到西方文化思潮的影响下,其内部开始产生转变,新的历史教育模式在新学制的颁布中开始萌发,并且逐渐建立起来。19世纪20年代开始的国故运动,更是对传统的历史教育中的结构进行重组,竟而使得经、史彻底剥离,史学这门学科的特质及其在现代学术体系中的位置也由此确立了。纵观现代中国历史历史教育的发展过程,教会大学虽非这舞台上耀眼的巨星,但其影响力也不可小视,且具有着一定的时代意义。因而,本文着重探究晚清以来教会大学中历史教育的情况,全文共分五个章节:第一章,绪论部分,介绍本课题的选题意义、国内外对此的研究现状分析,同时简要阐述了本文的研究方法及其创新与不足。第二章,简要叙述了教会大学历史教育的兴起和发展。第三章,以燕京大学“专业型”历史教育为例,从相关的课程设置、教师队伍建设及教学方法等方面展开叙述,从而对教会大学中“专业型”历史教育的特点及其影响进行论述。第四章,以燕京大学“通识型”历史教育为例,从通史课程的开始,同时结合相关史学会的情况和《史地周刊》中的内容等方面,还原当时燕大“通识型”历史教育的场景,竟而对教会大学在全民普史方面上的影响进行论述。第五章,通过对燕京大学“专业型”与“通识型”历史教育特点及其影响的研究,对晚清以来在华教会大学历史教育的特点及影响方面进行评述。
[Abstract]:History education, in ancient times, has been in the state of mixed classics and history. By the late Qing Dynasty, under the influence of Western cultural trends, Chinese academic culture began to change, and a new historical education model began to germinate during the promulgation of the new school system. And gradually set up the National Heritage Movement, which began in the 1820s, reorganized the structure of the traditional history education, and made the classics and history completely stripped off. The characteristics of historiography and its position in the modern academic system have also been established. Throughout the development process of modern Chinese history education, although the church university is not the dazzling superstar on this stage, its influence can not be underestimated, and has a certain significance of the times. Therefore, this paper focuses on the history education in church universities since the late Qing Dynasty. The full text is divided into five chapters: the first chapter, the introduction part, introduces the significance of this topic, and analyzes the current situation of the research at home and abroad. At the same time, this paper briefly describes the research method and its innovation and shortcomings. The second chapter briefly describes the rise and development of history education in church universities. The third chapter, taking the "specialized" history education of Yanjing University as an example, narrates the related curriculum, the construction of the teaching staff and the teaching methods, etc. The characteristics and influence of "professional" history education in church universities are discussed. In the fourth chapter, taking the general history education of Yanjing University as an example, from the beginning of the general history course, combining with the situation of the relevant historical society and the contents of the "Historical and Geography Weekly", this paper restores the scene of the "general knowledge" history education of Yanjing University at that time. Therefore, the influence of church universities on popularizing history is discussed. The fifth chapter, through the study of the characteristics and influence of the history education of "specialized type" and "general type" in Yanjing University, comments on the characteristics and influence of the history education in the church university of China since the late Qing Dynasty.
