几个佛教基本词汇的巴利语探源及相关思考

【摘要】：巴利语是记录南传佛教三藏圣典所使用的语言,也被一些佛教国家的传统说法认为是释迦牟尼佛当年所使用的语言,该语言在准确记录和传递佛教思想方面具有举足轻重的地位。本文探究了几个佛教基本词汇的巴利语原意,并分析了相应汉译词汇与巴利原语在指示义理方面的偏差,借此指出准确理解佛经词汇所指代的义理的重要性。进而呼吁学界和佛教界对巴利语、梵语等佛典原语的学习和研究给予高度重视。
[Abstract]:Bali is the language used to record the three saints of Buddhism in the south. It is also considered by some Buddhist countries to be the language used by Sakyamuni Buddha at that time. The language plays an important role in accurately recording and transmitting Buddhist thoughts. This paper probes into the original meaning of several Buddhist basic words in Baali language, and analyzes the deviation between the corresponding Chinese-translated words and the original words of Baali in the aspect of demonstrative meaning, thus pointing out the importance of understanding accurately the meanings and principles referred to in the vocabulary of Buddhist scriptures. It also appeals to scholars and Buddhists to attach great importance to the study and study of the original languages of Buddhism, such as Bali and Sanskrit.
