【摘要】：正前些日子,收到著名佛教学家、中国社会科学院学部委员魏道儒教授寄来的《世界佛教通史》(中国社会科学出版社,2015年12月出版),急忙打开来看:不是一本,而是一箱,整整的一大箱,14卷15册,800余万字——称其为"煌煌巨著",是一点都不为过的。书到手上,虽然是全新的,还散发着浓浓的墨香,但是从某种意义上讲,这套书对于我来说却也并非完全是"始知之""始见之"。十年前该书初立项时,我就曾有耳闻;2012年12月31日,我又有

A large box, 14 volumes, 15 volumes, more than 8 million words-called "brilliant works," is not an exaggeration. Although the book is new and has a thick smell of ink, in a sense, this set of books is not entirely "first knowledge" and "first sight" to me.
