[Abstract]:Since the late Qing Dynasty, there has been a close relationship between the rise and fall of Chinese classics history and the revival of Buddhism, and there has been close interaction between different types of Buddhist academic movements and Confucian classics. This is a problem that researchers in the history of modern academic thought and the history of Buddhism cannot afford to pay attention to. From the study of the history of the Buddhist scriptures of the Republic of China, the ** Institute and the Wuchang Buddhist Institute can be regarded as the two most representative academic communities.
