NASA研究发现全球干旱恢复期变长

【摘要】:正NASA网站2017年8月15日报道,20世纪以来,陆地生态系统从干旱中恢复过来的时间越来越长,部分地区的生态系统尚未从一次干旱中恢复便又遭遇干旱。这或将成为一种新常态,可能导致树木死亡以及温室气体排放加剧。相关论文发表在Nature上。研究人员利用泰拉卫星(Terra)搭载的中分辨率成像光谱仪(MODIS)和地面测量仪测算了不同地区的干旱恢复期,发现全球所有陆地地区的干旱恢复期都变得更长,尤其是在热带和北半球高纬度地
[Abstract]:NASA reported on Aug. 15, 2017 that since the 20th century, terrestrial ecosystems have been recovering from drought more and more, and ecosystems in parts of the region are suffering from drought before recovering from a single drought. This could become a new normal that could lead to tree death and increased greenhouse gas emissions. Related papers were published on Nature. The researchers used the mid-resolution imaging spectrometer (MODIS) and ground gauges from the Terra (Terra) to estimate the drought recovery periods in different regions, and found that drought recovery periods in all land areas of the world became longer.
