本研究的主要目的是探讨沟通对项目成功的影响,以及沟通对巴基斯坦建筑业冲突的调解作用。巴基斯坦的建筑业面临着沟通不畅和冲突问题,因此寻找沟通类型和冲突类型的中介作用对项目成功的影响是本研究的主要内容。实证数据来自拉合尔市的大中型建筑公司。利用结构方程模型(SEM)技术对实验数据进行了验证,并推导出实验结果。本研究的所有假设都得到了验证。结果表明,正式沟通对建设项目的成功有负面影响,容易引起项目团队成员之间冲突,而非正式沟通和沟通意愿对项目成功有积极影响,因为人们往往相互了解,从而让信任得到发展,沟通得到加强。任务、过程和关系冲突被用作中介变量。研究发现,任务冲突对关系的影响是积极的,因为项目团队成员会提出不同的方法来完成某项任务,从而获得项目的成功。相反,过程冲突和关系冲突会对沟通和项目成功之间的关系产生负面影响。这两种冲突都会引起负面沟通、导致项目失败。因此,项目经理(PM)有责任加强项目团队成员之间的沟通,减少或尽可能简化过程和关系冲突,这些涉及到对项目成功产生不利影响的因素。
