A-Cr-O相关化合物的高压合成和物性研究

【摘要】:具有Cr~(4+)离子以及CrO6八面体配位的氧化物由于处于绝缘体和金属的临界状态,表现出奇异的电子态和物性。本文在高温高压条件下合成了几类A-Cr-O(A为碱土元素)体系相关的化合物,并表征了其结构和物性。具体包括以下几方面:(1)制备了Sr_xCa_(1-x)CrO_3(0≤x≤1)系列单晶样品。用单晶衍射仪测试了样品结构,随着x增加,系列样品经历了由正交到四方最后到立方的结构转变。除了SrCrO_3,系列样品均出现反铁磁转变,奈尔温度随x增加而减小,在x=0、1/6和1/3的单晶中测试出明显的磁各向异性。单晶电输运测试显示系列样品均表现为半导体行为。通过制备和表征一系列的单晶样品,准确得出奈尔温度与样品组分相图,从电输运角度佐证了样品的局域电子态,并为后续的深入研究打下了基础。(2)制备了La_xCa_(1-x)CrO_3(0≤x≤1)系列多晶样品。GSAS精修了结构,均为正交相,空间群Pbnm,随着x增加,晶格常数变大。随着x增加,系列样品经历了由C型反铁磁到G型反铁磁的转变,奈尔温度随La含量的变化率dTN/dx~210K/x。电阻率随x增加而变大,逐渐由半导体转变为绝缘体。该体系显示出Cr离子由Cr~(4+)向Cr~(3+)的转变对样品磁电性质的调控作用。(3)制备了单层钙钛矿结构的Ca_2CrO_4和Sr_2CrO_4,其中Sr_2CrO_4合成了单晶样品。Ca_2CrO_4为四方结构,空间群I41/acd;直流和交流磁化率测试显示Ca_2CrO_4为自旋玻璃磁性;常压和高压下均表现出绝缘体行为。Ca_2CrO_4的合成进一步丰富了A-Cr-O体系,并显示出结构畸变对长程磁有序的抑制。Sr_2CrO_4为K_2NiF_4结构,空间群I4/mmm;在95K出现一个自旋轴沿c方向的弱反铁磁转变,单晶样品观察到了明显的磁各向异性;电阻测试结果同样在常压和高压下都显示为绝缘体。
