【摘要】：在世界海外华文文学中,泰华文学不仅历史悠久,而且历经磨难起伏,不仅受中国古代文学和现当代文学影响,有众多反映中国社会和文化的思想内容,也有大量描写泰国社会和风情的作品,更展现了泰国华人社会广阔的现实图景。因此,泰华文学是海外华文文学中非常具有历史特色和地域特色的文学,具有极其重要的地位和研究价值。在二十世纪初期,泰华文学随着华文教育和华文报业的兴盛而兴起发展,通过研究发现,泰华文学在近一个世纪的发展中,现实主义是其创作主流,这是具有多方面的原因的。首先, “文以载道”的中华文学传统深深烙印在知识分子内心,这就注定他们会关注现实,关怀弱小,伸张正义。其次,移民泰国的华人大都历经艰辛,他们身处海外,既要求生存讨生活,起早贪黑白手起家,又要面对二十世纪复杂多变的国际国内环境,残酷的战争和意识形态争议等对他们的排挤打压,对祖国和泰国的现实的关注成为华人知识分子首要选择。再有就是,泰华文学深受五四新文学运动影响,鲁迅、巴金等现代作家的作品中的现实主义精神指引了泰华文学的发展方向。在近一个世纪的发展中,泰华现实主义文学为世界留下了大量具有揭露现实、批判现实的文学作品,其内涵异常丰富,几乎涉及社会各个角落各个方面。有对各类战争给人民造成伤害的控诉,也有对底层小人物的关怀,还批判了金钱至上娱乐至死的大众文化,此外也见证了华侨华人商海沉浮,表达华人政治诉求也是重要内容,也思考了人与自然的关系等等。泰华现实主义文学并不简单的反映和批判现实,在其文本中更有深刻的文化内涵,首先最显著的就是其中体现出的华人身份认同问题,由于泰国华人曾饱受压迫和不公,以及对中华文化的自豪感等,这种身份认同是有民族主义特质的。其次,由于身处佛教氛围浓厚的泰国,以及受到原乡宗教的影响,泰华文学也具有明显的宗教气质。再有就是随着华侨华人融入泰国社会程度不断加深,不同华人代际问题出现,泰华文学中不仅反映了华人的中国意识,也有对未来中华文明在泰国消亡的忧虑。以上这些都构成了泰华现实主义文学深刻的文化内涵。尽管二十世纪泰华文学几次起伏,经受社会风雨的洗礼,历久弥坚,且文学作品不管从体裁样式还是数量质量上来看,都是令人叹为观止的。但其在泰国文学史上却不被重视,另一方面是缺乏有效的翻译介绍,另一方面是本身的艺术价值,在泰华文学被大陆学者重视和研究的现如今,这种“墙内开化墙外香”的处境更加明显。文章中我们以泰华文学中的中长篇小说为例,不带个人情感,从文本出发,客观地分析泰华文学的成就与局限。在世界经济一体化逐渐加深,中泰交流越来越频繁的现如今,泰华文学可以说是中泰交流的文化力量,是了解泰国历史、社会、华人的重要窗口,因此就有必要讨论泰华文学经典化的问题,分析泰华文学历史上的文学作品,评判经典,分析优劣,为未来的泰华文学创作提供可参照或避免的典型和榜样。
