中国英语学习者复合词加工研究

  对复杂词(多词素词)加工的研究有助于揭示心理词库结构和运行机制,因而一直是心理语言学领域一个重要的研究课题。然而,现有的词素加工研究多针对派生词或屈折词,其研究结果显示,在语义透明度,词频等各种因素的作用下,词素分解和整词表征及加工都可能存在。相对而言,复合词加工得到的关注较少,而二语复合词加工的研究尤其鲜见,并且即使少有的国外几项研究也都使用平衡双语者或高水平二语学习者为受试,对中低水平学习者的关注较少。鉴于此,本论文以中国英语学习者为研究对象,探讨其复合词加工,尤其是二语复合词加工的情况。首先,本研究的跨语言视角提供了一个不同于一语复合词研究的“词汇性效应”检验机会。词汇性效应是指,二语学习者在对二语复合词进行加工时,加工效果受制于二语复合词在一语中的翻译复合词(即词素分别翻译后所组成的“复合词”)是否是一语中的真词。词汇性效应的存在将提供复合词分解加工和跨语言激活的证据。其次,本研究区别了语义透明词和语义晦涩词,探讨语义透明度对加工的影响,而对这一研究问题的回答则关乎加工路径的选择,即分解加工还是整词加工。再者,通过跨语言双向词素启动实验,尝试对“不对称启动效应”进行验证,该效应...
