1993年进入清华大学生物科学与技术系,1999年获学士学位,1999年获理学硕士学位。1999年8月赴美国康奈尔大学医学院生理、生物物理和分子医学系,于2004年获博士学位。同年获美国耶鲁大学的Endowed Postdoctoral Fellowship,从事博士后研究。2007年起获聘为复旦大学副教授,硕导。2013年8月兼职复旦大学发育生物学研究所PI。2016年3月起任复旦大学附属妇产科医院生殖发育研究院副教授PI,2017年12月起任教授,PI。曾获得上海市浦江人才计划,复旦大学卓学人才计划等奖项。近五年承担的重要项目有国家自然基金委应急项目1项,上海市科委重点项目1项;参与基金委重点项目1项,参与973计划课题1项,863课题1项。
在在大脑皮层发育、神经干细胞分化和出生缺陷分子遗传机制等研究方向积累了较丰富的研究经验,,并取得了具有一定影响力的成果。实验室的研究方向为研究胚胎发育异常导致的:1)大脑神经干细胞发育及发育障碍相关疾病;2)神经管畸形和先心病的遗传分子和病理机制。
