船舶与海洋工程

     华南理工大学船舶与海洋工程系创建于1958年，，是培养船舶与海洋工程专业高级专门人才的学科。本专业是以数学、力学、船舶与海洋工程为主干学科。学生主要学习数学、力学、计算机软硬件基础系列课程、计算机辅助设计与制造、船舶原理、船舶结构力学、现代造船技术、船舶设计原理、工程经济和管理基础等。
     学生毕业后，能从事船舶与海洋工程结构物及相近领域的设计、检验、研究、制造、规划和经营与管理等方面的工作，适应社会主义现代化建设需要的高级人才。

The Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering is a discipline for cultivation of high-level talents in the field of naval architecture and ocean engineering and was established in 1958.  The basis of discipline lies in mathematics, naval architecture and ocean engineering. Students are offered courses such as Mathematics, Mechanics, Series courses of computer technology, CAD/CAM, Principle of naval architecture, Structural mechanics of ships, Modern shipbuilding technology, Principle of ship design, Engineering economy and Management etc.
 
The graduates can engage the design, inspection, research, manufacture, planning, management in the field of naval architecture and ocean engineering or relevant disciplines.
