Organizations exist to accomplish certain objectives. Based on profitability organization could be divided into two different types vi's-à-vi's organizations for profit and organizations not for profit. In the majority of cases, business organizations fall in the first category as they work to generate profits for the shareholders or owners such organizations represent (Leimsider, 2006). On the other hand, organizations that exist for some social purposes could be termed as organizations not for profit. In this paper, discussions will be limited to the first types of organizations, which are organizations for profit. Arguably, such organizations could adopt two different types of perspective that could be termed as a shareholders approach and the stakeholder approach (Agels, et al., 2004). Although, these two concepts use two different approaches regarding the means through which an organization could accomplish its ultimate objectives, the fact is that both approaches are striving to accomplish the same ultimate objectives (Smith, 2003).
