艾森豪威尔总统时期好莱坞在美国对苏联公共外交中的作用

　　公共外交已经成为一个国家对外政策的重要部分。美国在这领域积累了丰富的理论和实践。其公共外交范围广泛,包括电影。电影作为一种能影响人们意见和行为的传播媒介,是开展公共外交的有效方式。好莱坞作为美国电影业界的代表,长期以来与华盛顿保持良好的关系,成为美国在世界上的“观念大使”,推动美国的公共外交。鉴于艾森豪威尔总统时期与苏联签订文化交流协议,打破了二战后美苏长期以来电影交流中断的僵局,本文以艾森豪威尔总统时期为例,探讨好莱坞如何推动美国在苏联的公共外交,并选取两部电影——《罗马假日》和《老人与海》来具体分析。本文最终得出好莱坞电影在美国公共外交中有积极的作用,中国可以从中汲取经验来开展公共外交。本文选用的研究方式包括历史分析以及案例分析。
