旅游广告语及俗语外译的艺术美——从“桂林山水甲天下”英译文谈起

【摘要】:作者以“桂林山水甲天下”之英译为例,归纳了旅游广告语的特性、目的和追求效果,主张外译时需体现艺术美,并提出“简练、押韵、节律规整”三手法;同时举例说明此原则更多的适用性。
[Abstract]:Taking the English translation of Guilin landscape first as an example, the author sums up the characteristics, purpose and pursuit effect of tourism advertising language, advocates that the artistic beauty should be embodied in the translation, and puts forward three techniques: concise, rhyme, rhythm and regularity. At the same time, examples are given to illustrate the applicability of this principle.
