论模糊语在外交语言中的语用功能

【摘要】：模糊性是自然语言的一种属性，，关于模糊语的研究同样很重要。本论文借助语用学的相关理论，如合作原则、礼貌原则及顺应论对近两年来国内外外交发言人在例行记者会上所发表的模糊语用言论进行一个相对完整的研究。本论文对相关背景知识和理论系统做了一个比较全面的介绍。在案例分析上，作者运用合作原则和礼貌原则的各次准则对外交语言中出现的相关模糊用语和模糊表达（包括词义模糊、句法模糊和语篇模糊）进行分析和解读，进而归纳得出预设结论：模糊语是应场景或话题需要，为外交发言人刻意所使用以达到特殊的会话或外交目的的而非一种偶然或随意现象。鉴于外交的出发点是为维护本国利益，过度谦虚势必不能起到相应的作用，本研究在理论引用上不包括礼貌原则中的谦虚准则。另外，作者借助顺应论从语篇的角度对外交语篇中的模糊现象进行分析。最后，作者归纳和阐述了模糊语在外交语言中的几种常见语用功能。从总体上来讲，本论文关于模糊语在外交语言中的语用功能的研究达到了理论和实用相结合的双重效益。从理论方面来讲，用语用学理论分析外交语言中的模糊现象既可以扩大合作原则和礼貌原则以及顺应论的解释力，同时也能推动它们自身的不断深化和发展。从实用角度来讲，本研究对更好地理解和阐释外交发言人的言论具有一定的启发作用，对帮助理解其他学科领域中出现的模糊用语现象也能起到很好的借鉴作用。此外，作者也希望本论文能够再次引起学校关于模糊语教学的重视；能够为之后关于模糊语的教学和学习以及人们关于会话技巧的培养带来些许的启发。最后，在本研究的基础上作者从研究过程中的主要发现、心得体会，可能的影响和启发，论文尚存在的不足以及今后的学习建议等方面对本论文进行了相对系统的总结。
[Abstract]:Fuzziness is an attribute of natural language, and the study of fuzziness is also very important.Based on the relevant theories of pragmatics, such as cooperation principle, politeness principle and adaptation theory, this thesis makes a relatively complete study of the vague pragmatic statements made by foreign and domestic foreign spokesmen at regular press conferences in the past two years.This paper makes a relatively comprehensive introduction to the relevant background knowledge and theoretical system.In case analysis, the author uses the principles of cooperation and politeness to analyze and interpret the relevant vague expressions (including semantic ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity and textual ambiguity) in diplomatic language.Then the presupposition conclusion is drawn: vague language is a kind of accidental or random phenomenon which is deliberately used by the diplomatic spokesman to achieve a special conversational or diplomatic purpose in response to the needs of the scene or topic.In view of the fact that the starting point of diplomacy is to safeguard the interests of one's own country, excessive modesty is bound to fail to play a corresponding role, so this study does not include the principle of modesty in the politeness principle.In addition, the author uses adaptation theory to analyze the ambiguity in diplomatic discourse from the perspective of discourse.Finally, the author summarizes and expounds several common pragmatic functions of vague language in diplomatic language.In general, the study of the pragmatic functions of vague language in diplomatic language has achieved the dual benefits of combining theory and practice.Theoretically speaking, the analysis of vagueness in diplomatic language by pragmatic theory can not only expand the explanatory power of cooperation principle, politeness principle and adaptation theory, but also promote their own deepening and development.From a practical point of view, this study has a certain enlightening effect on the better understanding and interpretation of the remarks of diplomatic spokesmen, and can also play a good reference role in helping to understand the phenomenon of vague language in other disciplines.In addition, the author also hopes that this thesis can arouse the attention of the school on vague language teaching again, and bring some enlightenment to the later teaching and learning of vague language and the cultivation of conversational skills.Finally, on the basis of this research, the author makes a relatively systematic summary of this paper from the main findings, experience, possible influence and inspiration, the shortcomings of the paper and the suggestions for future study.
