中美政府官员联合国气候峰会讲话的批评性对比分析

【摘要】：本文运用语篇-历史分析方法中的所指策略和辩论策略，对中美两国政府官员2009至2011年间在联合国气候大会上所做的讲话进行批评性解读，对比中美政治演中语言策略方面的差异并分析其原因，以加强读者对政治演讲的理解。语篇-历史分析方法包括五种分析策略，本文根据所选语料的特点，主要运用其中两种策略：所指策略和辩论策略。所指策略是对社会活动参与者的范畴化划分，，即“组内”成员和“组外”成员。辩论策略指讲话者利用不同的主题，对语篇中的某些正面情况进行证实或对某些负面情况进行描述（Wodak,2001:73）。本文语料包括美国总统奥巴马和中国总理温家宝在2009年哥本哈根气候会议上的发言，以及中美两国首席谈判代表解振华、苏伟和Stern在2010年和2011年联合国气候大会期间所做讲话。本文作者从中节选18段进行定性分析，概括中美双方涉及同一话题时所运用的语言策略，并对比其语言策略使用上的差异，最后探讨产生差异的深层原因。研究表明，由于中美两国应对气候问题的态度立场不同，二者在主题的选择和应用、组群关系的构建标准和称谓词使用等方面存在差异。本研究具有以下意义。第一，本研究有助于提高人们的批评性语言意识，帮助人们更好地理解政治演讲中潜在的意识形态和交际意图。第二，本研究有助于英语写作教学。教师可以将语篇-历史分析方法中的分析策略融入写作教学之中，以提高学生的写作水平。第三，本研究对辩论策略进行了尝试性的修正，具有一定的创新性。
[Abstract]:This paper makes a critical reading of the remarks made by Chinese and American government officials during the period from 2009 to 2011 in the United Nations Climate Conference by using the strategies and strategies in the discourse - history analysis method , and compares the differences in the language strategies in the Sino - US political play and analyzes its causes to strengthen the reader ' s understanding of the political speech .

The discourse - history analysis method includes five kinds of analysis strategies . According to the characteristics of the selected corpus , the paper mainly applies two strategies : the strategy and the debate strategy . The strategy refers to the categorization of the participants in the social activities , namely , the members of the " group " and " the outside " members . The debate strategy refers to the use of different themes for the speaker to confirm or describe certain negative cases ( Woda, 2001 : 73 ) .

This paper includes the statements made by President Barack Obama and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao at the Copenhagen Climate Conference in 2009 , as well as the statements made by the chief negotiators of China and the United States during the United Nations Climate Conference in 2010 and 2011 .

First , this study helps to improve people ' s critical language awareness and help people to better understand the potential ideological and communicative intention in political speeches . Secondly , this research can help students to better understand the potential ideological and communicative intention in political speeches . Secondly , this study can help students improve their writing level . Third , this study has made a tentative revision of the debate strategy and has some innovation .
