罗存德和他的《英华字典》

【摘要】：在早期东西文化交流方面,来华传教士的作用不容小觑。他们中有相当一部分具有深厚的汉学功底。来自德国的罗存德就是其中一位。可惜的是,这位对我国英汉词典的编写起了很大作用的人在现有的词典史文献中却很少被提及。文章对罗存德做了详细的介绍,并从词典学角度对他的代表作《英华字典》做出全面的评介。
[Abstract]:In the early east-west cultural exchange, the role of missionaries in China should not be underestimated. A considerable number of them have a strong foundation in Sinology. One of them is Rokunde, from Germany. Unfortunately, this person, who has played a great role in the compilation of English-Chinese dictionaries in China, is rarely mentioned in the existing literature on dictionary history. This paper introduces Luo Cunde in detail and makes a comprehensive review of his masterpiece Yinghua Dictionary from the perspective of lexicography.
