听众与发言人的语言能力对口译质量的影响及其应对策略

【摘要】：现代国际会议中，发言人与听众们往往有着各自不同的语言背景。其语言能力的迥异，对口译质量有着不可忽视的影响。本论文讨论了有着不同语言能力的发言人及听众对口译进程及质量的影响。同时，以提高口译质量为目的，探索性地为口译译员提出了应对来自发言人及听众负面影响的对策。 在阐述过程中，作者通过对有着不同语言能力的发言人及听众们的行为模式的探讨，来分析其对口译译员及口译质量的影响。并以新能源会议为例，进一步阐释不同语言能力的发言人及听众们对口译质量所产生的影响。 首先，作者介绍了口译的定义、历史、分类，及口以质量的评定方式与影响口以质量的若干因素。在此基础上，论文讨论了发言者与听众们在口译活动中的角色，以及其对口译质量的影响。随后，通过新能源会议这一实例，阐释了单语言能力与双语言能力的发言者与听众们对口译质量的不同影响。得出了单语言能力者对口译质量有积极影响，而双语言能力者对口译质量有消极影响的初步结论。 论文接着探讨了口译译员应对这一消极影响的对策，即行为预测、译前准备、现场策略。最后通过实验证实了单语言能力者对口译质量有积极影响，，而双语言能力者对口译质量有消极影响的初步结论，并说明了行为预测、译前准备、现场策略的对于提高口译质量有效性。
[Abstract]:In modern international conferences, speakers and listeners often have different language backgrounds. The difference of its language ability has an important influence on the quality of interpretation. This paper discusses the influence of speakers and listeners with different linguistic competence on the process and quality of interpretation. At the same time, in order to improve the quality of interpretation, this paper puts forward some countermeasures for interpreters to deal with the negative effects from speakers and listeners. In the process of expounding, the author analyzes the influence of speakers and listeners with different language abilities on the quality of interpreters and interpreters. Taking the new energy conference as an example, the influence of speakers and listeners with different language abilities on the quality of interpretation is further explained. First of all, the author introduces the definition, history, classification of interpretation, as well as the assessment of oral quality and some factors affecting oral quality. On this basis, the paper discusses the role of speakers and listeners in interpretation activities and its impact on the quality of interpretation. Then, through the example of the New Energy Conference, this paper explains the different effects of speakers and listeners on the quality of interpretation. It is concluded that monolingualism has a positive influence on the quality of interpretation, while bilingualism has a negative effect on the quality of interpretation. The paper then discusses the countermeasures of interpreters to deal with this negative influence, that is, behavior prediction, pre-translation preparation and field strategy. Finally, the experimental results show that the monolingualism has a positive influence on the quality of interpretation, while the bilingualism has a negative effect on the quality of interpretation, and explains the behavior prediction and pre-translation preparation. The field strategy is effective to improve the quality of interpretation.
