生态语言学视角下荆州年轻人对普通话、荆州方言、英语的语言态度调查研究

生态语言学自二十世纪七十年代开创以来,已在国内外语言学界引起广泛关注。增强语言和文化生态的保护意识、维护语言文化生态系统的平衡,在中国建设和谐社会的新时期具有重要意义。 本文从生态语言学理论架构出发,以生态语言学中语言多样性问题为研究点,选取荆州地区年轻人为研究对象,通过研究其语言态度来分析当地的语言生态。本研究主要采用社会语言学问卷、访谈调查等方法,以不同年龄阶段的120名荆州学生为实验对象,通过调查研究,试图获得以下问题的答案：1.荆州地区年轻人语言使用情况以及他们对普通话、荆州方言和英语的语言态度是怎样的?2.如何运用生态语言学原理解释这些语言态度在荆州产生的原因,分析当地是否存在语言生态危机? 调查研究表明：荆州作为长江沿岸的历史文化名城,随着经济的发展以及普通话的推广,荆州年轻人在交流中更偏好使用普通话；同时,英语作为一种世界通用语言,其国际交流中的重要地位促使荆州年轻人更加重视英语的学习和使用；而荆州方言在年轻人群体中有被弱化的趋势,在时代的剧烈变迁中,其生存和发展受到挑战,保护荆州地区语言多样性势在必行。
