少数民族自治区的大学校徽多模态隐喻认知分析

认知语言学家Forceville的著作《广告中的图画隐喻》开启了对多模态隐喻的研究。目前学界对于多模态隐喻的研究主要是基于语类的案例研究,涉及广告、影视、漫画、图标、音乐、手势语等,甚少有研究关注校徽中多模态隐喻的意义构建,尤其是中国少数民族自治区的大学校徽,虽有涉及,多是基于社会符号学视角下的研究。而大学校徽作为大学身份的标志,是大学对外宣传的名片,凸显大学的整体形象。大学校徽通过文字、图像、颜色和图形等多种模态表征意义,彰显出学校的办学理念、办学特色以及办学追求,是大学文化的重要组成部分,构成多模态隐喻。由此,本文收集了中国五个少数民族自治区的58所大学的校徽,拟从认知语言学的视角,运用概念隐喻理论和赵秀风提出的多模态隐喻整合模型,聚焦大学校徽中多模态整体意义的动态构建过程,采用定量与定性相结合的研究方法探究大学校徽多模态隐喻映射与合成机制,对大学校徽进行个案分析,力图从本质上阐释校徽的表达效果与意义产生的认知机制。同时总结少数民族自治区的大学校徽多模态隐喻的特征,以此为分析背景,尝试性的从多模态隐喻的认知研究视角为校徽设计提出些许建议。研究发现,双域映射很好的阐明了不同模态作为源...
