【摘要】： 跨文化交际的历史源远流长，但作为一门独立学科则方兴未艾。国内外学者从不同角度对此进行研究。本论文尝试应用关联理论，从社会文化学和语用学的角度，通过对中英跨文化交际中的语用失误现象进行分析，探讨语言语文化，语言与交际之间的关系，寻求实现有效言语交际，避免或减少由于母语语言习惯和本土文化负迁移而造成的语用失误现象的途径。 第一章概要介绍跨文化学的历史渊源和现状，以及对其定义和研究范围的界定。通过对同文化与跨文化交际的差别进行分析，探究影响跨文化交际的因素，阐释跨文化交际的模式，并综述国内外对于跨文化交际，特别是言语交际中的冲突合失误的研究。 第二章具体介绍语用失误的范畴的研究对象，澄清语用失误和语言错误的区别，并从语言语用失误和社交语语用失误方面分别阐释语用失误的现象。 第三章分别从语言，文化，思维方式，语言习得的角度分析造成语用失误的主要原因—语用迁移。指出母语语言习惯和本土文化负迁移对跨文化交际的影响。 以下两章分别从语言语境和文化语境的角度介绍语用失误现象。交际是一个解码和推论结合的动态的过程，交际活动的理解和生成取决于对语言和文化语境的充分理解，对任何语境缺乏了解都会导致语用失误。第四章从宏观角度对造成语用失误的原因进行分析。此部分主要从语言语境入手，分析字、词、句、篇章中存在的中英语用差异。 第五章从文化语境角度分析造成语用失误的原因。从七个方面分析，在强势语境和弱势语境中(以中英文化为代表)详细地分析地理、历史、宗教、习俗、态度和世界观、思维方式、价值观、面子系统等因素对语境的影响，，各因素或多或少影响教向交际的实现。 在上述第四、第五两章的基础上，第六章从微观角度，结合上两章的分析结果，对在恭维语、道歉和致谢、询问、关心、称呼语等言语行为中出 哈尔滨工程大学硕士学位论文 现的语用失误进行具体分析。并揭示语用失误的主要原因是由于母语和本土 文化负迁移所致。 第七章探讨避免语用失误的途径，指出应在第二语言习得的过程中增 强文化意识，避免文化定势，从语言能力、交际能力、文化能力、社交语 言能力及策略能力方面培养综合的跨文化交际能力，以适应多元文化的要 求。
