中国古代年龄称名的转喻研究

  中国古代年龄称名作为指称的一种,是指将中国古代人的年龄作为称名对象,用人主观意识中与年龄相关的一切事物来对年龄进行称名,这一活动离不开对称名对象的主观认知。本论文试图借用概念转喻这一认知工具,从转喻思维出发来对中国古代年龄称名进行认知研究。根据概念转喻理论,转喻映射遵循突显性和邻近性的认知原则,人们在认知某一事物时会因为注意的焦点不同而突显事物的不同侧面,从而借用同一认知域或认知矩阵空间内某个突显的、易感知的、可替换的邻近部分激活整体转喻目标。在中国古代年龄称名中,每个年龄也有突显出来的相应典型特征,这些突显的、与年龄相关的邻近概念被用来指代年龄,因此转喻映射的邻近性和突显性原则可以为作者基于概念转喻的中国古代年龄称名研究提供理论阐释的可能性。通过研究,本论文得出以下结论:(1)年龄称名作为一种言语思维活动,基于长时间对年龄突显特征的认真观察,其关键在于年龄与邻近概念之间的密切联系;(2)转喻映射基于突显性原则和邻近性原则,后者又可进一步分为概念邻近性和空间邻近性两种。借用转喻映射的突显性和邻近性原则,突显的、与年龄相关的邻近概念可以被作为指称词来指代年龄,从而完成对年龄的称名行为;(...
