里约奥运会英汉体育新闻标题中概念隐喻的比较分析

  体育新闻标题既要形象地反映赛事结果,又要吸引读者阅读,隐喻的使用是其常见的手法之一。以往体育新闻标题中概念隐喻的研究聚焦于战争隐喻及概念隐喻的运作机制,而较少探讨体育新闻中语言与思维的关系,全面深入的英汉比较研究更是寥寥无几。有鉴于此,本文拟对英汉体育新闻标题中的概念隐喻进行系统的比较分析与认知阐释。里约奥运会期间涌现出海量的体育新闻,英汉报道中均使用了大量隐喻。本文以里约奥运会英汉体育新闻标题为研究对象,拟探讨以下三个问题:(1)里约奥运英汉体育新闻标题中分别有哪些典型的概念隐喻?(2)两种语言体育新闻标题中的概念隐喻出现频率有何异同?概念隐喻的分布有何规律?(3)造成这些概念隐喻异同的理想化认知模型(ICMs)是什么?为解决上述问题,本文以概念隐喻理论和理想化认知模型为依据,采取了定性分析与定量分析相结合的研究方法。本研究从2016年8月16日到2016年8月22日期间“天空体育”、“卫报”、“体坛周报”和“搜狐体育”这四大主流媒体新闻网站的里约奥运专栏各随机选取一百条标题,字数约为8370词,逐一识别英汉体育新闻中的隐喻并予以分类,然后通过比较分析找出异同点并探讨造成这些异同点的...
