汉英称谓语差异的文化图式分析

【摘要】：称谓语是人际交往的重要部分和人际关系的重要信号。称谓语不仅是一个人身份的标示，也是一种独特的文化标示，与文化有着密切的关系。社会文化影响着称谓语的形成、选择和应用。因此对称谓语的文化背景的研究有利于实现称谓语的恰当使用，进而更好地促进跨文化交际。 在本研究过程中，为了更好的让使用者理解和运用汉英语言中的称谓语，笔者从称谓语的文化内涵入手，以文化图式理论为主要理论框架对汉英称谓语的背后文化图式进行研究，试图阐述汉英文化差异是如何影响两种称谓的表达使用的，进而探究汉英称谓语的主要文化差异以及文化图式理论怎样能够更好的阐释汉英称谓语的文化差异。 通过阅读大量关于称谓语研究的专著、期刊等文献，在综合分析前人对汉英称谓语的研究成果的基础之上，采用前人亲属称谓语和社会称谓语的分类方式，从历史文化、社会制度、家庭和血缘观念以及等级和地位文化四个层面分析汉英称谓语差异及其背后的文化图式差异及对应情况。 本研究显示，汉英社会文化因素的四个方面：历史文化、社会制度、家庭和血缘观念以及等级和地位文化极大地影响了两种语言中的称谓语系统。而从文化图式的角度看，这种差异主要是由于以上四个方面的社会文化因素的文化图式对应出现缺失、相反造成的。这表明上述社会文化因素的文化图式对应对理解和掌握称谓语文化差异中的重要意义，，并且总结出只有当它们的文化图式在两种语言文化中对应相对较好、使用者对两种文化图式掌握水平较高时，跨文化交际中称谓语的使用才有可能实现语言层面和文化层面的准确交流，从而顺利实现跨文化交流的目的，当汉英称谓语的文化图式对应出现缺失或者相反时，使用者要做好对两种文化图式的理解和转换，避免或减少文化误差带来的称谓语使用不当。
