【摘要】：正20世纪以来的中国绘画史,是在急剧变化的社会动荡中,重新寻找价值定位与表现方式的探索史。由于门户的开放,尤其是外强内弱的现实,促使中国艺术家不得不重新思考绘画的功能和作用,并承担起启蒙与救亡的社会责任。于是,过去占据画坛主流的文人画,以追求"逸笔草草,不求形似,聊以自娱,写胸中逸气"(倪赞语)的艺术趣味,受到了批判和扬弃;而回归于现实,以写实主义的造型语言,来表现真实的人生,便取而代之成为绘画的主要探索方向。艺术家刘向东,就是在这样一个文化背景下走上艺术之路的。
[Abstract]:Since 20th century, the history of Chinese painting is a history of searching for the orientation of value and the way of expression in the rapidly changing social turbulence. Because of the opening of the door, especially the reality of the weak inside and outside the strong. Chinese artists had to rethink the function and role of painting, and assume the social responsibility of enlightenment and salvation. Therefore, in the past, the literati painting, which occupied the mainstream of the painting world, was in pursuit of "easy brushwork" and "no resemblance". The art taste of "Yi Qi in my chest" (Ni Zan dialect) was criticized and abandoned. And return to reality, with realistic modeling language, to express the real life, will instead become the main exploration direction of painting. It is in such a cultural background on the road to art.
