合笔画现象研究

【摘要】:在绘画中,以合笔的方式合作完成的集体创作屡见不鲜。我们所熟知的人民大会堂的著名巨幅国画《江山如此多娇》,由傅抱石、关山月合笔而成;齐白石、陈半丁、何香凝等14位当代书画名家合作的《和平颂》为世界的和平做出了贡献;像徐悲鸿、黎雄才、关山月、范曾等多位名家都与其他人有过合作,其合笔而成的作品不仅被传为佳话,而且在艺术品市场上也不断刷新纪录。政治、经济、友谊、画家趣味等多方面因素促使近现代合笔创作大幅度增加,合笔画作为一种特殊的创作形式和艺术行为,实际上是一个普遍性问题的集中反映,即艺术中的合作行为。即便是艺术欣赏的过程,也是一个欣赏与创作者合作的过程,在历史具体情境中,视觉艺术往往包含可以文化行为和视觉语言方面的合作与博弈。只不过本文提到的合笔画,是这种合作和博弈特征和规律在创作者方面的浓缩体现,不同创作者在合笔画中通常已经预含了欣赏、评判的角度。本文主要分为如下几个部分:绪论简要介绍与本课题相关的研究现状、本文的选题目的和研究方法。第1章从纵向时间角度梳理了合笔画现象的发展,并提炼总结出其大致的发展规律。合笔画在合作方式和发展演变上形成了一条主要的线索趋势,从隋唐五代时期工艺技术上的合作交流,到宋元文人画家们意识趣味上的标榜,逐渐演变成明清以及近现代多元化的社会整合。第2章内容在第一章梳理合笔画现象发展的基础上,从时间、空间特征和材料技术两方面对其进行分类讨论,从中找出更多画面之外的有趣现象和元素,从而为文章的第三章和第四章做铺垫。第3章从艺术社会学角度,从艺术的社会文化行为侧面来谈艺术创作与社会文化之间的合作与博弈关系。从这个角度看,艺术具有社会文化合作与博弈的属性,合笔画的背后有标榜、劝募等社会文化行为和经济目的。艺术创作不仅仅是艺术家和创作对象,在合笔画的创作中,创作者们的个人意识与集体意识的冲突与融合,在不同背景下的合作与博弈,都暗含着艺术创作与社会文化生活之间的博弈关系。第4章从艺术风格学与符号学角度来探讨合笔画现象中个人符号与画面风格的整合关系。当然具体到合笔画如清代宫廷合笔画,对文人画的某种风格、笔法的强调,其背后往往潜藏着一定的文化态度的表达,可视为把绘画语言和符号转换为社会行为,二者也不是互相独立的。这要求本文对图像学和风格学进行交错运用,并注意中国绘画艺术中对于题材和手法的复杂“转借”现象。本文的研究把合笔画现象放到社会文化与生活的时代背景与环境中去,力图做出更加具体和整体的分析。本文强调了合笔画现象在艺术风格与艺术行为方面在不同时期与社会文化生活的整合关系。其从一个看似特殊的现象层面,实际上反映了具有普遍意义的艺术观念和艺术与生活等重大问题及其规律。它们之间的这种关系推动了合笔画现象的发展与形式上的改进,同时也是艺术与文化发展过程中的一个互动的生动例子。
