“灰调木刻”创作流行现象探析

【摘要】:黑白木刻是历史最为悠久的版画种类,而且表达方式多种多样。其中,以“灰调”作为主要视觉效果的黑白木刻,习惯上称之为“灰调木刻”。灰调木刻源于西方,有过极其辉煌的历史,对中国新兴的木刻也有过深刻的影响。由于多种因素的影响,灰调木刻在中国经历了发生、发展、消退、复苏以及流行的各个阶段。如今,受西方造型与审美影响的灰调木刻,通过一大批中国版画家的创作实践,逐步与中国审美习惯相结合,涌现出了大量的别具一格的具有东方情愫的灰调木刻作品。这些作品以其形式的新颖,丰富的视觉呈现,屡获国际国内大奖,占据较高的学术地位,并逐渐形成一个创作群体,引人关注与思考。本文以一个灰调木刻创作者的角度,结合自身实践,梳理中国灰调木刻的历史脉络,分析中国当代灰调木刻作品的面貌与特征,研究其创作规律和表现方法,阐明灰调木刻在中国当代版画创作中的价值和意义。并为中国当代版画创作中的灰调木刻类型提供理论文本与实践依据。
[Abstract]:Black and white woodcut is the oldest type of prints, and the expression of a variety of ways. Among them, black and white woodcut with grayish tone as the main visual effect, habitually called "gray tone woodcut". Grey wood engraving originated from the West, has an extremely brilliant history, also has a profound impact on the new wood carving in China. Due to the influence of many factors, gray wood engraving in China has gone through various stages of occurrence, development, regression, recovery and popularity. Now, influenced by the western style and aesthetics, a large number of Chinese printmaking artists' creative practice, gradually combined with the Chinese aesthetic habits, emerged a large number of unique gray woodcut works with oriental feelings. These works, with their novel form, rich visual presentation, repeatedly won international and domestic awards, occupy a higher academic status, and gradually form a creative group, attracting attention and thinking. In this paper, from the angle of an author of graywood engraving, combined with his own practice, this paper combs the historical context of Chinese gray-tone woodcut, analyzes the features and features of the contemporary Chinese gray-tone woodcut works, and studies its creative rules and methods of expression. This paper expounds the value and significance of graywood engraving in Chinese contemporary print creation. And provides the theory text and the practice basis for the gray tone woodcut type in the Chinese contemporary print creation.
