都市图像叙事的兴起与近代中国小说插图的视像变革——《海上花列传》吴友如派插图研究

【摘要】：在中国小说插图史上,晚清韩邦庆小说《海上花列传》之吴友如派插图是一个被忽视却又非常重要的小说插图文本。其不仅数量宏富,绘制精细,且紧跟近代中国的视觉文化生产和视像变革进程,在传播媒介及模式、绘画技法、文图关系、视像旨趣等各方面均不同于以往,不仅塑造了小说插图再现世界的新机制,构建了相对科学、客观的观看方式,而且拓展了传统的文图关系,创造了都市化的视觉表意系统,使得中国小说插图的现代风格开始呈现。可以说,正是这一插图文本,真正开启了中国小说插图的都市图像叙事,催发了传统小说插图在近代中国的视像变革,并对其后晚清民国小说插图中的都市图像叙事产生了深远影响。
[Abstract]:In the history of illustrations of Chinese novels, Wu Youru's illustrations in Han Bangqing's novels of the late Qing Dynasty were neglected but very important. It is not only rich in quantity and fine in drawing, but also closely following the process of visual culture production and visual transformation in modern China. It is different from the past in the media and mode of communication, painting techniques, text and picture relations, visual purport, etc. It not only shapes the new mechanism of reproducing the world of the novel illustrations, but also builds a relatively scientific and objective viewing mode, and expands the traditional text and picture relationship, and creates a visual ideographic system of urbanization. So that the modern style of illustrations in Chinese novels began to appear. It can be said that it is this illustration text that really opens the urban image narration of the illustrations in Chinese novels and prompts the video transformation of the illustrations of the traditional novels in modern China. It also has a profound influence on the urban image narration in the later Qing and Republic novels.
