霍夫斯泰德文化维度理论视角下的儿童绘本价值取向分析

绘本,也叫图画书或插画书,目前在中国正受到前所未有的重视。绘本结合图码与语码并通过两者共同作用叙述故事,通常以儿童为目标读者。因其有图片的帮助和浅显易懂的语言,绘本被认为非常有助于发展儿童的语言和阅读能力并对他们的自我认知和社会化都有助益。因其上述优势,绘本在国内广受认可和欢迎。出版机构、创作人、幼儿园、小学,尤其是家长都对其推崇有加。绘本的引进、翻译和创作都在蓬勃发展。但是,尽管很受欢迎,绘本对中国人来说尚属新鲜事物。家长在绘本书架前往往很迷茫,选择适合自己孩子个性和年龄特点的绘本经常是一件不容易办到的事情。国内现有的绘本参考和指导书籍多是针对绘本的创作技巧、翻译和解读策略;现有的关于绘本的学术研究也主要针对引进或原创绘本的出版规模对比、翻译和创作策略等。总之,尽管引进绘本和原创绘本共存使之成为了一种跨文化现象,从跨文化角度对其进行的研究却很少,从价值取向视角进行的研究则几乎没有。没有合适且实用的理论指导,家长和教育机构在绘本的选择上将继续处于困难之中。基于现实的需求,本论文尝试使用霍夫斯泰德的文化价值维度理论探究绘本的核心实质。研究目的首先是分析绘本是否反映其不同来源地的价值取向;...
